On employee retention, Mattone advises, “To retain employees, leaders must evaluate the heart and soul of their organization and ask the tough questions like, ‘How do I show concern and compassion? Do I truly care for the people here? Do I have the courage to show my heart to people?’”
Leaders Aren’t Stepping Up
Organizations who lack transparency and remain perilously out of touch with their employees are at risk of further employee resignation. Many haven’t responded well, simply because the company’s leadership refuses to step up and account for the current situation.
